Sena has over 11 years of soccer experience in Europe by playing for: OFK Tuzla, FK Drina and FK Sloboda in Yugoslavia.

1995/1996 played for Tuzlansko-Podrinjski Bosnian Regional Team

1997/1998 played in Bosnian national finals under U19 Division.

After a knee injury in 1999, Sena retired playing professionally and entered a new adventure of coaching.

Sena coached youth teams in Europe.

In 2000 played for teams in the Chicago National and Metropolitan League.

Alen Smjecanin

Alen has over 9 years of soccer experience in Europe by playing for: NK Zeljeznicar and FK Bosna in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Competed in major youth tournaments throughout Europe, in countries such as: Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Montenegro, Holland, Denmark and Austria.

At the age of 12 while playing for NK Zeljeznicar, his team was ranked 1st in Europe for his age group.

After playing two years for a Junior college, Alen was supposed to play for a Division I school (UIC), but a knee injury prevented him from it.

After his knee injury in 2008, Alen continued playing in the Chicago National League.

Played for NK Prijedor, FK Kozarac, and Hellenic United.

Other playing experience: Lillies Grand Rapids, Sherman Boys, Maroons, Celaya, and NK Teslic.

Started his coaching career in 2007 with the Chicago Inter Soccer and Southwest Soccer Club, formerly Homer Hawks.

Moved back to Europe in 2003, where he played for NK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo and led them to consecutive national titles of Bosnia from 2004-08.

Part of top 3 showings at the most recognized youth soccer tournaments in Europe: Dana Cup, Norway Cup, Mediterranean Cup, Austria Cup, Orebro Cup, etc. Helped club to recognition as one of top sides in Southeast Europe.

Part of 30-member player pool for the U-18 Bosnian National Team alongside various players currently playing in top European leagues.

Arrived back to Chicago for his final year of high school when he led Niles West as a senior to All-Central honors and became one of the top assisters in school history.

Played NCAA Division I Soccer for the University of Illinois at Chicago (2009-13) where he finished his collegiate soccer career.

Currently plays for AAC Eagles Chicago of the Metropolitan Soccer League.
